Featured Artist at Artistar Jewels During Milano Jewellery Week
The last week of October saw jewellery enthusiasts from all over the world descend on Milan, Italy for the first ever edition of Milano Jewellery Week. At the heart of Jewellery Week was Artistar Jewels, which celebrated its seventh edition as one of Europe’s most important reference events for contemporary jewellery.
I was delighted to represent Ireland at Artistar Jewels as one of 150 handpicked jewellery artists from 40 countries. The selection criteria was based on high artistic value, technical experimentation, personal interpretation of traditional techniques, and originality of design and style. Six of my designs were selected for the showcase and included the Papillon Wing Ring, In Flight Ring and Earrings, Braided River Satin Finish Cuff, Success & Prosperity Pendant, and Equus Pendant.
All designs showcased in the event can be seen in the Artistar Jewels 2019 Fall Edition table book published by Logo Fausto Lupetti.
